ChatInvests / How a brief would be made
Pilot method, not a published policy. The labels, the 180-day example threshold and the correction handling below are example wording from the design prototype. They are not final rules, a legal commitment or a promise about record retention.
How a brief would be made
In a brief, every fact would show its source, its date and how it was checked (proposed scheme). These are the proposed labels.
Source types
- Registry record: result of a public registry search. Not an endorsement.
- Self-reported: what the business says about itself.
- Third-party: an independent source unrelated to the business. Same-operator sites do not count.
- Source comparison: a fact compared with its source line by line. Not a certification of quality.
Status labels
- Unknown no source that can be published. Unknown is not "no" and not zero.
- Outdated evidence older than the review period (pilot example: 180 days).
- Disputed sources disagree. Neither value is used.
- Withdrawn the source did not support the claim. The value is no longer shown.
Corrections
In a live version a business could send a correction with a public source. Who reviews it, how long it takes and what is kept are not decided. Submissions are not connected in this pilot.
What this site does not do
- Give investment advice or recommend a product
- State or imply expected returns
- Confirm regulatory status without a public source
